My day at the Château

During the summer months, we're offering you a day out just 35 minutes from Tours and Saumur.

Lunch and pool day (main course and dessert + hot drink and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage).

We suggest:

  • Access to the Domaine swimming pool from 10am to 5pm (towel provided),
  • “Les Caprices de Dorothée” lunch (main course, dessert, one alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage and one hot drink),
  • End your day with a bucolic stroll through our gardens and forest.

 

Price: €59 incl. tax/person

Barbecues at the Château

This summer, take advantage of the fine weather to enjoy an exceptional barbecue in a unique setting. Get settled under our majestic cedar of Lebanon and let yourself be carried away by the summer atmosphere, the gentle rays of the sun, the crackling of the brazier and the delicious scents of grilled meats...

On the menu, savory meats flame-cooked on our brazier, accompanied by an assortment of grilled southern vegetables, sautéed potatoes and the chef’s summer salad. To finish on a sweet note, an assortment of home-made pastries prepared by our Pastry Chef Franck Joly and his brigade, will enhance this convivial and gourmet moment.

Price: €65 incl. VAT / person, including barbecue, access to the buffet (sweet and savory), a glass of wine, water and hot drink.

Every year on the occasion of Heritage Days, Le Château de Rochecotte opens its doors to visitors on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

Gourmet halls, cabinet of curiosities, guided tours, discover our program below.

The program features a variety of areas:

Guided tours: 12 tour slots are available (reservation required on 02 47 96 16 16),

Tour times10 am – 10.30 am – 11 am – 11.30 am – 2 pm – 2.30 pm – 3 pm – 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm – 5 pm – 5.30 pm (booking required on 02.47.96.16.16).

Halles gourmandes: featuring local produce – sweet / savoury / beverages – (on-site catering available),

A cabinet of curiosities: concept stores (candles, soaps, ceramics, tea, etc.)

A tearoom: enjoy tasty homemade pastries by our head pastry chef Franck Joly (reservation on 02 47 96 16 16).

The Château’s restaurant: discover the gastronomic and summer menu of our chef Emmanuelle Pasquier (by reservation on 02 47 96 16 16).
